You skip the risk of buying an unreliable vehicle for a temporary stay. Insurance, registration, Certificate of Fitness and maintenance are all taken care of for you.

For rentals of 8 weeks or less, full payment is taken at the time of booking. For rentals longer than 8 weeks, the first 8 weeks are paid at booking; six weeks into the hire we take payment for the next 4-week block, and every 4 weeks after that until the hire ends.

Yes — every rental includes full comprehensive insurance. The standard hirer liability limit is $1,200, which you can reduce to $600 for a small additional fee.

A valid physical driver licence — either a New Zealand licence or an international licence accepted by the NZTA. If your licence isn't in English, you'll need an official translation. You'll also need a credit or debit card in your own name.

Any international licence that the NZTA recognises for driving in New Zealand. Check the NZTA website for the current list of accepted licences.

Long-term rentals have a fair-use allowance of 48,000 km per year — more than enough for even the biggest Kiwi road trips.

A refundable bond of $2,000 is payable at the time of booking, in addition to the rental fee. Your booking payment itself is fully refundable if you cancel at least one week before pickup.

You can cancel free of charge up to one week before your pickup date. Cancellations within a week of pickup incur a $250 fee. If you need to end your hire early, we ask for one month's notice, with the regular rate payable across that notice period.

Yes — all prices on this site are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD).

GPS units aren't included. Most drivers simply use their smartphone with a navigation app.

Our vehicles are chosen for reliability, but if something does go wrong you're covered by 24/7 roadside assistance. You'll receive the contact number when you collect your vehicle.

Rental vehicles in NZ need a COF every six months, so one may fall due during a longer hire. We'll let you know in advance, the inspection usually takes under an hour at any approved testing station, and we cover the full cost. If you're near one of our locations, we can arrange it for you.

For long hires or high-mileage travel, a scheduled service may come due. We'll ask you to bring the vehicle to one of our locations or a nominated service provider, and we cover the full cost. If you're planning big distances, check with us ahead of time so we can plan around it.

Yes — just give us one month's notice. The regular rental rate is payable for the notice period.

We offer pickup and drop-off at: Auckland City, Waikato, Wellington. Let us know your preferred location when you book.

Airport collections and returns during standard business hours are free. A $50 after-hours fee applies outside business hours.

Bonds are refunded one month after the vehicle is returned. This allows time for any delayed parking or speeding notices to reach us.
